We made OilStick to make sure your printer keeps running smoothly and your prints keep sticking to the print bed.
But what happens when they stick a little TOO well?
The Liberator is an all-metal bed scraper built for removing stubborn prints, purge lines, brims, skirts, and other little plastic crimes from your build plate. It features an anodized aluminum handle, replaceable SK5 steel blades, and enough bite to get under anything that refuses to leave your build plate, without looking like the sad plastic spatula that came with your printer as a "gift".
Summary
- All-metal bed scraper for removing 3D prints
- Great for brims, skirts, purge lines, supports, and stubborn prints
- Compatible with Bambu Lab X1/P1-style SK5 steel blades
-
Anodized aluminum handle with solid ergonomics
- Magnetically attaches to any metal surface
The Blade
The replaceable SK5 steel blade is thin enough to slide under plastic and sturdy enough to actually feel useful.
Use it for lifting corners, removing brims, cleaning up purge lines, and getting stubborn prints off the plate without bending a flimsy plastic scraper into a sad little banana.
The Handle
The anodized aluminum handle gives it a solid, balanced feel in the hand with great ergonomics.
It is compact, durable, and has embedded magnets on the back so you can stick it to your printer, toolbox, or whatever metal surface is nearby, rather than losing it in the chaotic mess you call a tool drawer.
The Cleanup
The Liberator is for the annoying stuff: purge lines, skirts, brims, failed first layers, support leftovers, and prints that refuse to release because apparently they own the build plate now.
Let the plate cool when possible, slide the blade in at a shallow angle, and use light, controlled pressure.
The Warning
This is a metal blade. Metal blades can scratch or damage your print bed. Avoid digging into the build plate by using too much force. It's not a shovel.
Use light pressure. Keep the blade low. Replace damaged blades. Respect the bed.
